When Springfield Community School asked for our help we responded immediately. There annual pantomime ....... So Dimension Dance had only three weeks to put together a show and workshop.
Tracey Davies, Deputy Head of the centre
“The young people of Dimension Dance put on a stunning performance at The Springfield Centre in Lupset during the last week of the autumn term. Prior to the performance, some of the students & staff at Springfield took part in a street dance workshop that tested their fitness, agility & co-ordination skills. Once the audience had caught their breath from their exertions, they were left gasping again, this time in awe, at the moves from the performers as they leapt & spun across the stage. The audience was made up of staff & students from the Springfield & Priory Pupil Referral Units. Many of the students had not seen a live dance performance before & were suitably impressed by the skills & stamina of all the dancers, many of whom were of a similar age to themselves. Despite a rather cramped stage area, not to mention the enthusiastic proximity of the audience, the young people of Dimension Dance put on a very professional & exciting performance”
